Good Starter Bird That is Still A "Companion"?

I suggest a atiel. Being an owner of an African parrot I know that parrots are NOT starter birds. atiels can talk,they love attention and are incredibly smart,and fun birds. And there are a lot of great rescues out there that you can find a perfect companion at I have never bought my birds from a pet store they just don't treat them right.atiels can be like feathered dogs :]
