My wife wants space, both are 21 years old?

My wife and I both 21 have been together for almost 4 years, 3 of which have been married. We recently bout a house 4 months ago and were living happily all since her and her friend took a trip to California/vegas 2 weeks ago and since her return she has not been the same. There is nothing in the bed anymore and all she wants to do is hang out with her friend. I am a pretty keep to myself kind of guy and i am so in love with her and am so saddened by the fact that out of nowhere it seems she doesnt care about me. We were both eachothers firsts and i thought we had it all figured out but i just dont know what to do. We settled into our home and since yesterday shes moved out to her mothers house and i am left alone. She tells me she cares about me and loves me and needs space for now. My answer to this is that if she wants space its permanent but of course its my ego speaking and i want things to go back to normal. We started our new semester at the university last week and now i dont know if i want to go to cl and see her on tuesday. My brother has dealt with this before and he says its not even hitting me yet to feel deppressed. I know we are both young and she thinks i am controlling even though she is free to go and do as she pleases. I am so confused and sad!!! Please any advice would help. What should I do, should i wait should i sell the house what do i do. thank you
