Who is more responsible for the impending American default: Republicans or Democrats?

Its obviously the tax and spend democrats. Republicans were voted into office to STOP THE SPENDING. The government takes in more then enough money. We don't need to give them more, we need to force them to stop spending. This cl warfare the liberals are trying to play only works on the ignorant. People who actually think, Conservatives, don't care about how much one makes, but rather who's better equipped to spend that money, and its certainly not the government.
