Born again-again Atheists, what are your roots?

I was just wondering which Christian offshoot sect produces the most Atheist converts. I was once a Pentecostal (emblies of God Church), and have a sneaking suspicion that the Evangelical Fundamentalist churches produce more than their share of Atheists like me who couldn't stand the nonsense of it.
