If your motherboard is square, it should be a micro-ATX board, which is 9.6 inches square. ATX board is larger and rectangular. At any rate, make sure that the case you order will take either ATX or micro-ATX motherboards. Some ATX Mid-Tower cases will not mount a micro-ATX board. Check the specs.
